Volunteers Click here to meet our volunteers About volunteering for HHfRD (in Bengali) Helping Hands for Refugees and Disabled (HHfRD) is run solely by volunteers, and receives no public or private funding. Therefore we rely on the generosity of volunteers from across London, who give their time to allow us to provide our services to the people who need them. One of our key aims is to develop the skills needed for our volunteers and for those don’t have any level 2 qualifications, we can arrange with Train to Gain organisations to gain level 2 NVQ in Advice and Guidance, Team Leading, Management etc.
We are looking for partnerships with similar organisations who are interested in offering the same qualifications to their volunteers, in order to offer this training at their meeting rooms or venues.
As we don’t have a space to
host the trainer and trainees at a suitable venue, we need the help of a Newham

We are currently looking for volunteers from any part of the world, who can act as translators and allow us to offer a free online translation service.
We
now provide free basic IT skills, using one-to-one training for elderly and
