1) We are currently asking for "Expressions of
Interest" from people interested in training in the following fields:
Debt advice, Money matters, Welfare benefits
awareness, Disability awareness, Abuse against vulnerable people, Awareness
of HIV/AIDS and Prevention, and other training areas.
If you are interested in such training, please contact us. 2) We are planning to provide an Online Befriending Service and also Online Mentoring, if you are interested in this service as a volunteer or service user please contact us. 3) The bursary for "Capacity Builders" for NVQ Level 4 in Managing volunteers has been successfully completed and we have received certification of this.
4) Congratulations to our six
volunteers who have successfully completed Level 2 OCR accredited
certificate in Business Administration.

A Steering Group meeting was held in April with the aim of ensuring that people living in the local area have a stronger say in the design and delivery of our future services. A number of people attended and gave their views and thoughts on how we can provide a project for socially-disadvantaged, elderly, disabled, and housebound people from all communities, and address the issues and hardships faced by them.
