HHfRD have been awarded a grant from the "Access to Volunteering Fund" to buy some tools such as an adapted key board, mouse etc for disabled volunteers

 

Sri has signed the "Greater London Volunteer Management Charter for Good Practice in Volunteer Management". Sri says: "We appreciate the help, guidance and excellent support for good practice in volunteer management from Jen Anderson, Experts in Volunteering, Development Worker East"

 

HHfRD have been awarded a bursary to follow a NVQ in volunteer management by "Capacity Builders" (for Strand C Award for Volunteer Management training).

 

National Volunteers' Week went well and Mr Sharmarke Diriye from the Refugee Council (Basis Project) attended and took part in our celebrations. "We are very thankful for his participation, help in our progress and for  guidance in good practice in volunteer management" says Sri.

Latest News - "Steering Group Meeting 15th April 2009. 14.00-17.00 (2pm - 5pm)"

A Steering Group meeting was held in April with the aim of ensuring that people living in the local area have a stronger say in the design and delivery of our future services. A number of people attended and gave their views and thoughts on how we can provide a project for socially-disadvantaged, elderly, disabled, and housebound people from all communities, and address the issues and hardships faced by them.
