These gifts added to the donations made through the funeral directors DB Devall amount to £500 in total. All of this money will be sent to the charity MIND which was a charity supported by Jay.
Once again, many thanks to you all. Your thoughtfulness is a beautiful tribute to Jay's memory". Bob & Kate McCreight

3) Waiting for Don Amelio is a play written by Jason McCreight & John Brookes under the pseudonym of Raleigh Herne, published in 2005. This can best be described as a surrealist-comic play and was written on and off during the 80s through to 2005. The publisher's blurb describes it as: "a sweeping epic of a play set in revolutionary sixteenth century Portugal. Whilst 'Waiting For Don Amelio's story covers the events of seven days during a peasant rebellion in C16th Portugal, this breathtaking work is about much more than that. All aspects of existence are contained within the dramatic framework of this play: love, social injustice, war, the loss of a lawnmower, courage in the face of adversity.... and a small flatulent dog". You can order this book from Waterstones (www.waterstones.co.uk) or Amazon (www.amazon.co.uk), however The Book Depository are offering a special price of for £8.57 - with free delivery - at this link: Modern Fiction: Waiting for Don Amelio
